Cross Country Championships of the district

The Cross Country Championships of the district Linz Land took place on the 10^th of October in Enns. Depending on their age, the students of the NMS Neuhofen covered a distance of either 1900m or 2700m.

Sophia Wiesinger, Naomi Istrate, Leonie- Sophie Buchegger, Alina Werbik and Linda Dinstl, the girls of the 1^st and 2^nd grade (U1w), won the first race with only a small lead, while their class colleagues Tobias Baumgartner, Noel Hofer, Pascal Binder, Andi Fetahi and Leon Heitzendorfer (U1m) achieved the superior win.

Beside the outstanding achievements of their younger colleagues, the girls and boys of the 3^rd and 4^th grade could also demonstrate spectacular performances. Sara Schaufler, Janine Zwettler, Julia Schaupper, Yvonne Hörschläger and Sarah Mayrhofer (U2w) gathered their strength to bring home the 3^rd title on this day. 

To complete the thrilling championships in the Schlosspark Enns, the boys Marvin Leutgeb, Matei Cotin, Philipp Körber, Koray Kara and Erolind Gashi (U2m) showed that their endurance training for the 2700m distance had paid off and won the final title in a head- to- head race with the athletes of Haid.

The whole staff of the NMS Neuhofen congratulates the athletes for their excellent teamwork and performance and wishes all the best for the coming regional championships in Lambach next week!

Am 10.10. fanden bei top Bedingungen die Bezirksmeisterschaften im Cross Country Lauf statt. Im Schlosspark in Enns absolvierten die Schüler/-innen je nach Alter 1900m bzw. 2700m. Bei den U1 Mädchen (1.+2. Klasse) gewannen Sophia Wiesinger, Naomi Istrate, Leonie-Sophie Buchegger, Alina Werbik und Linda Dinstl ihre Gruppe knapp, während ihre gleichaltrigen Kollegen Tobias Baumgartner, Noel Hofer, Pascal Binder, Andi Fetahi und Leon Heitzendorfer souverän den Titel holten.
Auch die U2 Mädchen (3.+4. Klasse) ließen nichts anbrennen und so schnappten sich Sara Schaufler, Janine Zwettler, Julia Schaupper, Yvonne Hörschläger und Sarah Mayrhofer den Bezirksmeistertitel. Die U2 Burschen, Marvin Leutgeb, Matei Cotin, Philipp Körber, Koray Kara und Erolind Gashi, konnten sich ebenfalls gegen ihre Altersgenossen aus Haid und Enns durchsetzen und nahmen noch einen Titel mit nach Neuhofen.
